Tools For Change with Wyevale

6th May 2016
Bring your ancient shovels, toothless forks and rusty trowels to a Wyevale garden centre 9 May – 9 June 2016 and receive 10% off new ones!

The Conservation Foundation's Tools Shed project is working with Wyevale Garden Centres to make old and broken tools as good as new, through the Tools Shed HM prisoner workshops. Your reconditioned tools will then be given back to the community, creating everything from school veggie patches to public gardens.

The reconditioned tools will be given free to schools and community groups, in a Starter Pack containing five to seven tools, at a Tool Giveaway Day – dates to be announced – at eight of Wyevale's centres in early 2017. The participating centres are Heighley Gate, Bridgemere, Percy Thrower's, Woodlands, Syon Park, Cardiff, Old Barn and Endsleigh. It's a great way of using your old tools to bring the joy of the garden to more people by helping them create everything from conservation areas in towns to planting public spaces.

Find out more on dropping off your old garden tools at a Wyevale garden centre as part of Tools For Change, and receiving a voucher for 10% off new tools, here: www.wyevalegardencentres.co.uk/toolsforchange

Schools and community groups that would like to receive a free pack of garden tools are asked to write to: tools@conservationfoundation.co.uk
