Spring Flower Weekends at Wakehurst Place

Enjoy the spectacle of nature bursting into life at a series of Spring Flower Weekends at Wakehurst Place, Kew’s country estate near Haywards Heath, West Sussex.
 
Spring is one of the finest seasons at Wakehurst, which is set in the heart of the West Sussex countryside. Highlights include carpets of vivid bluebells in Horsebridge Woods, rhododendrons in Westwood Valley, primroses and ladies smock in Bethlehem Wood, and native wildflowers around the 500 acre estate.
 
Visitors can take in the sights and scents of spring on the  Spring Flower Weekends, with guided walks, plus minibus tours on two Sundays for visitors with mobility problems.
 
Spring Flower Weekends 2010
April 24 and 25 (Guided walks on April 24, minibus tours on April 25)
May 1,2 and 3   (Guided walks each day)
May 8 and 9      (Guided walks on May 8, minibus tours May 9)
